Our Hearts Our Heads OUR HANDS

A man suffering from a dreaded diesease came to Jesus and begged him for help. "If youwant to," he said, "you can make me clean." Filled with pity, Jesus touched him. "I do want to," he said. "Be clean!"
- Mark 1:40-41

What better way to share Christ than with loving hands, stretched out in service!

Whe seek to help ease the hurts of our world through compassion and outreach... with meals to PADS, the local homeless shelter program... with warm quilts given to the needy made by members that meet to sew weekly... with donations of food for the local Food Pantry... with our Sunshine Committee that provides members in temporary need with an extra pair of hands... with support to our Lutheran missonaries in Russia... with video tapes of our Sunday sevices delivered to the homebound... with support to Lutheran Family Mission and other social ministry agencies... with Youth Ministry to both junior and senior high school groups... with United Lutheran Church Women who create school kits and layettes sent overseas and raise funds for charitable causes.

Helping hands are essential to our Sunday worship as well. We share our time and talents when we read the lessons, serve as communion assistants, youth acolytes, ushers, nursery care-givers, Sunday School teachers and singers in the choirs.

Be a worker with us in the Kingdom of God!
