United Lutheran Church's worship each Sunday morning at 9:30 is a service of Holy Communion that includes scripture readings, a 10-minute sermon, several hymns and liturgical music pieces sung by the congregation and a choir, as well as participation in the communion meal (also known as the eucharist). We welcome everyone to receive communion.

Our worship has a classic liturgical structure that would be especially familiar for people from Roman Catholic or Episcopal backgrounds, as well as other denominations. We use Evangelical Lutheran Worship as the primary resource during our worship services, although most of the order of service is printed out in an easy to follow bulletin or worship folder just for a specific service. Congregational singing is usually accompanied by an organ, though occasionally also a piano, as well as other instruments.

The scripture readings that we use each Sunday are from the Revised Common Lectionary, an ecumenical resource shared by many Christian denominations. Read the scripture readings for the coming Sunday along with seasonal prayers and other devotional resources for the home here.
