Made one in Christ Jesus, United Lutheran Church welcomes all
As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), United Lutheran Church welcomes you to participate in our worship, community, service to others, and fellowship with each other. Embracing our faith tradition, we believe that we are saved by God’s grace through faith. It is not a result of anything that we have done. It is simply a precious gift from God. Our response to that redeeming gift is to share the message of God’s love through our hands and feet and voice in the community and world. As Jesus reached out to and loved and cared for people no matter their gender, occupation, age, or infirmities, United Lutheran Church strives to reflect the love of Jesus with a spirit of welcome. We welcome all, regardless of race, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship status, family structure, physical or mental health, legal status, or socioeconomic status. Statement adopted by United Lutheran Church's congregation council on May 13, 2019. |
